About the Project
I created this project in my Graphic Design Methods and Principles class in the Spring of 2024 at George Mason University. For the assignment, we were given the name of a brand, and we had to create the brand's logo, identity, and backstory. Mine was Volpe, or fox in Italian, and I made it a cutting-edge winter clothing brand with the bold slogan of “Cool Clothes, Hot Fashion.”
Designing
Because the brand is winter-themed, I decided to make the primary color a lighter blue and use charcoal and off-white in other merchandise/graphics to complement the blue. I created the brand to have a futuristic look with intricate detail overlapping with the graphics. This matched well with the brand's identity as some of the clothes match those design aspects. I created a brochure, business card, letterhead, an envelope, and four clothing pieces, including two jackets, a hat, and pants. This project sparked a new love for brand identity.
