What’s Up, Mason is a news web series hosted by James Hamilton, who is a part of the GMU Student Life community. It’s about understanding what’s going on around campus, whether it’s about events around campus, recent events in the area, or major events in the coming days. He had been running this show for about a year before I started producing it. Alongside producing, I record, edit, and help James plan questions. Check out the episodes videos below!
Olympics
GMU Student, Ilia Malinin, participated in the 2026 Winter Olympics in men's figure skating. There was a watch party and the whole event for students alike to watch their fellow colleagues succeed. Unfortunately, he gets 8th. Watch James report, and find out what Mason students think about it.
