About the Project
I did This editing-intensive project with the LinkedIn Premiere Pro Essential Training Certificate and the LinkedIn Creating Presets, LUTs, and Profiles for Video Pros Certificate. With these two courses, I have built upon my editing skills, such as file and timeline organization, storytelling, and basic color grading.
Editing
For the project and editing, we were given lots of footage regarding an oyster farmer, Charles, and were told to create a story. I decided to tell a simple, calming story about him and his experiences with oyster fishing. I created this calming ambiance with soothing audio, having a piano throughout the video, waves crashing over the water, and birds chirping in the background. I created a pastel color grade to emphasize the red and blue colors. This makes the footage look somewhat vintage and like a much simpler time.
